MPSE Community Engagement was founded by Macaulay Parkinson in response to a recognised need for positive youth activities in Yorkshire. With a strong focus on community cohesion and youth development, the organisation is dedicated to creating meaningful opportunities and making a lasting positive impact within local communities.
Partnering with local schools, West Yorkshire Police, and Kirklees Council youth teams, MPSE Community Engagement delivered an after-school programme for young people aged 12–16 in Dewsbury Moor. Hosted at Dewsbury Moor Sports Club, the “Place2Go” programme has offered a safe and welcoming space where young people can take part in sports, build new skills, and form friendships. With a strong focus on developing leadership, resilience, and providing volunteering opportunities, the programme aimed to equip participants with the confidence and experience they need to thrive in the future.
