the Community Foundation for the people of Kirklees.

The Kirklees Police Fund

This fund will support voluntary activity and charities across Kirklees.

The Kirklees Summer Play Scheme Camp (Pictured above), has been operating since the 1960s. The camp received a grant of £500 towards its annual operating costs. It caters for children between the ages of 9-12 years, that come from a variety of backgrounds throughout Kirklees.

You can apply for up to £1,000. Applications are invited for project, equipment expenditure and operating costs. To make an application, scroll down to the bottom of this page and click on the 'apply now button', and follow the on-screen instructions. (Do not delete your registration email, as this contains a link to your application form, and will enable you to go back and complete details at a later stage, if you require).

See below for the fund application deadlines. Please be aware that it can take up to 3 months before you receive any funding, so please schedule your project accordingly. ALL supporting documents must be received with your application - either by post, or attached with the online application form.

One Community makes grants to a wide range of organisations. The Foundation is particularly keen to help grassroots community groups, and small-to-medium-sized voluntary organisations, and priority will be given to these groups. We do not normally make grants to large local, regional and national charities. If in doubt whether your application can be considered, please contact us: (01484) 468397.
