The Deighton and Brackenhall Initiative Fund

The Deighton & Brackenhall Initiative Fund will only benefit voluntary and community groups operating in the Deighton & Brackenhall areas of Huddersfield. In view of the continuing Coronavirus pandemic, applications are welcome from organisations to support operating costs. You can make a funding application for up to £1,000.

CORONAVIRUS: In this present time you may not be providing a service, but you will still have costs to cover, such as utility bills and rent. You can apply for support to cover these costs, as well as equipment and project expenditure

The Deighton & Brackenhall Initiative (DBI) was formed in 1997 to tackle a range of issues that were spoiling the quality of life for local residents and preventing new people from moving into the area. It is a revolutionary, award-winning partnership between the community, elected members, public services, agencies and business.

One Community makes grants to a wide range of organisations. The Foundation is particularly keen to help grassroots community groups, and small-to-medium-sized voluntary organisations, and priority will be given to these groups.
