the Community Foundation for the people of Kirklees.
The Deighton & Brackenhall Initiative Fund will only benefit voluntary and community groups operating in the Deighton & Brackenhall areas of Huddersfield. You can make a funding application for up to £1,000.
The Deighton & Brackenhall Initiative (DBI) was formed in 1997 to tackle a range of issues that were spoiling the quality of life for local residents and preventing new people from moving into the area. It is a revolutionary, award-winning partnership between the community, elected members, public services, agencies and business.
This fund opens again in the Spring of 2019.
One Community makes grants to a wide range of organisations. The Foundation is particularly keen to help grassroots community groups, and small-to-medium-sized voluntary organisations, and priority will be given to these groups. We do not normally make grants to large local, regional and national charities. If in doubt whether your application can be considered, please contact us: (01484) 468397.
